The Academic Technology Student Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the department's mission to enhance teaching and learning through technology. The primary responsibilities of this position will involve creating engaging and informative visual content, such as infographics and videos, to assist faculty and students in effectively utilizing the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and other educational technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Graphic Design: Create visually appealing and informative infographics, diagrams, and other visual aids to explain complex technological concepts
   
• Video Production: Develop instructional videos and tutorials to guide users through the features and functions of the Canvas LMS and other learning technologies
   
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the Academic Technology team to develop content for online resources, such as knowledge bases and FAQs
   
• Research: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in educational technology

• Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in design tools such as Canva or Visme, or Adobe design tools
• Experience with video editing and production techniques
• Strong understanding of design principles and ability to create clean, user-friendly designs
